Flash chart stays grey after clicking on legend or pointing on the graph. Is there a way to refresh it once you have clicked on it?

I'm wondering is there a way to refresh Flash chart once you have clicked on it (legend or point)?
When you click on value in legend or point on the graph chart emphasizes that particular value by graying out everything else.
So, when you have upper module that refreshes the content of that graph, what happens is that the whole graph is gray!

I think that the only way to refresh such a chart is to reload the whole dashboard.
