Drill down to saved search

The documentation examples, you typically find for drill down wants to go to a form/view. But if you want to go to a saved search you can follow the steps to get the url you need to link to.

  1. Open the app (usually the default search app) where you search is saved.
  2. Click to pull down Searches so you can see your saved search, right click and copy the link.
  3. Edit your xml as you would find in existing drill down examples and paste the link you copied in the link tag area. Make sure you remove the http and server name off the front of the link. so it starts more like /en-US/app/search/....

That should then let you jump to the saved search when clicking in that panel. You might want to do this where you have a pie chart but want drill down to land on a table of details you built in a saved search.
