Dashboard panel graphs are not updating realtime

Hi

We have created some dash boards by searching by queries and then saving them as reports and then again saving them as Dashboard panels. What the problem is the Dashboard panel graphs are not updating automatically real-time and we need to refresh the web page manually every time to have a updated graph on dashboard panel . We tried with all browsers like chrome, firefox and IE but same issue.
Can some one please help us on this.

Use the refresh attribute to set how frequently, in seconds, to refresh the dashboard.

For example, <dashboard refresh="30"> sets the refresh rate to 30 seconds.

If you want to refresh a particular panel, not the entire dashboard, then

To refresh a search for a panel:

  <option name="refresh.auto.interval"> 12 </option>
