Basic Checkbox in Dashboard

Explorer

I want a user to be able to go into my dashboard, look up a host, select a time range, and then select from Percent Used Space, CPU Utilization Percentage, and Used Memory using checkboxes. I have all these graphs running perfectly by themselves, but I need a way for it all just to show up on one graph synced with the checkboxes.

Can someone help me out with a dumbed down tutorial of how to set up checkboxes?

Hi @TylerJVitale,

Try this example. You shall change it according to your requirement.

<form>
  <label>CheckBoxes</label>
  <fieldset submitButton="false">
    <input type="checkbox" token="host">
      <label>Host</label>
      <valuePrefix>"</valuePrefix>
      <valueSuffix>"</valueSuffix>
      <delimiter> OR </delimiter>
      <fieldForLabel>host</fieldForLabel>
      <fieldForValue>host</fieldForValue>
      <search>
        <query>|metadata type=hosts|dedup host|table host</query>
        <earliest>-15m</earliest>
        <latest>now</latest>
      </search>
    </input>
    <input type="checkbox" token="sourcetype">
      <label>Sourcetype</label>
      <valuePrefix>"</valuePrefix>
      <valueSuffix>"</valueSuffix>
      <delimiter> OR </delimiter>
      <fieldForLabel>sourcetype</fieldForLabel>
      <fieldForValue>sourcetype</fieldForValue>
      <search>
        <query>|metadata type=sourcetypes|fields sourcetype|dedup sourcetype</query>
        <earliest>-15m</earliest>
        <latest>now</latest>
      </search>
    </input>
  </fieldset>
  <row>
    <panel>
      <table>
        <search>
          <query>index=_internal host=$host$ sourcetype=$sourcetype$</query>
          <earliest>-15m</earliest>
          <latest>now</latest>
        </search>
        <option name="drilldown">none</option>
      </table>
    </panel>

I actually didn't need to do this way, so I ended up doing something else that works better for it

Hello @TylerJVitale,
it would be very helpful to provide us with the xml content of your dashboard.
Can you please do this, once removed/renamed sensitive info?
