All,

I have dashboard with an HTML page embedded. Works great and I need to add an image called called food.jpg to it.

Paths look like this:
/Applications/Splunk/etc/apps/MyApp/static/welcome.html
/Applications/Splunk/etc/apps/MyApp/static/food.jpg

How can I add the image to the html page? I have tried this -
<img src="tart.jpg" alt="Smiley face">

And this
<img src="/static/tart.jpg" alt="Smiley face">

Any ideas?

@daniel333 path should be SPLUNK_HOME/<yourSplunkApp>/appserver/static. Refer to one of my older answers: https://answers.splunk.com/answers/684811/how-to-add-an-image-as-a-footer-in-the-dashboard.html

PS: From Splunk 6.5 <yourSplunkApp> can be referred to using $env:app$ built in environment token. (also mentioned in the answer link)
