Add image to dashboard uploaded on the server

Hi all, i need to put an image on the dashboard and i want to upload it on the server. In which folder i have to upload it and what path i have to use? thanks a lot

Hi, you can load the image in the appserver/static subfolder of your app's directory:

$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/<yourappname>/appserver/static/

Then, in your static html, build the img tag like this:

<img src="${make_url('/static/app/<yourappname>/<imagename>')}" alt="My custom image" />
