How are you using Splunk?
In our organization, Cybersecurity has been the driver for our Splunk implementation. Many of the initial use cases have been around challenges shared with the network and service desk teams. More recently, some of our application system owners are looking for ways to leverage Splunk.
How about you?

Hi
there are almost uncountable way to use it. Just what your needs and imagination give to you.
You should read Splunk's blogs https://www.splunk.com/en_us/blog?301=/blog/, conf presentations (https://conf.splunk.com/watch/conf-online.html#/) to get some ideas how to use it. Also you could search from google "splunk use cases" or something similar to get more.
Also you could ask your local Splunk Partner (https://partners.splunk.com/solutionscatalog/) to present how to use splunk.
For application/system owners, probably most used ways are:
- Improve development
- Looking issues from logs
- use audit trail for customer issues
- Use is as get more value from your data like
- New business opportunities found from data
- Support operations (like monitoring, alerts, reports etc)

As I'm an independent consultant I have seen most of those use cases on my previous post mentioned on my Clients.
One good starting point is https://splunkbase.splunk.com/ where you could see lot of different use cases.
