our AIX administrators have sent an output of the errors from a few machines. this took place after the installation of the the NIX forwarder.

05-07-2012 16:20:07.245 +0200 INFO BatchReader - Could not send data to output queue (parsingQueue), retrying...
is it possible that this is due to an previous installation of the forwarder on the machine that has not been removed? please advise
Even if it were, you wouldn't run into that error. This is an error specific to the running instance. I suspect the problem is as the error indicates, an unconfigured or misconfigured props.conf. You probably need to review and correct the output configuration pointing to the indexer. Could you post a copy of the file and tell us it's location?
