The Ideas platform is your space to suggest new features, vote for improvements, and collaborate with the AppDynamics community. Follow these steps to submit your ideas, vote, comment, and stay updated on enhancements that matter most to you.

How to Submit a New Idea for AppDynamics

1. Access the Ideas Portal
   1. Go to https://ideas.splunk.com/ (sign-in required).
2. Sign In or Create a Splunk Account
   1. If you have a Splunk Account, sign in with your credentials.
   2. If not, create a new Splunk Account as prompted.
3. Start a New Idea Submission
   1. Click Add a new Idea to begin.
4. Enter Your Idea Details
   1. Under Choose a Workplace, select AppDynamics.
   2. Provide your Idea Title.
   3. Select the product category most relevant to your idea.
   4. (Optional) Add a Support Case number if applicable.
   5. Fill in the description field with details about your idea.
      
5. Submit Your Idea

Review your entry and submit. Your idea will now be visible to the community for voting and feedback.

How to Vote for and Comment on Existing Ideas

1. Access the Ideas Portal
   1. Go to https://ideas.splunk.com/ and sign in.
2. Browse or Filter for AppDynamics Ideas
   1. Use the Filter by Category panel on the left.
   2. Expand AppDynamics to explore subcategories.
   3. Select a category to view all related ideas.
3. Vote or Comment
   1. Vote directly from the idea list, or
   2. Click an idea to read more details and view or add comments.

How to Subscribe to Ideas for Updates

Want to stay informed about an idea's progress without voting? Subscribing lets you receive updates on activity and comments.

1. Browse and find an idea you want to follow.
2. Click on the idea to open its details page.
3. On the right, click the Subscribe button.
4. You will now receive notifications about updates to this idea.
