How do I instrument the Events Service or Analytics server for performance tuning?

Instrument the Events Service process for performance tuning using the following steps:

1.  Configure the Java Agent via the controller-info.xml file located in /AppD/AppServerAgent-4.x.x/ver4.x.x.0/conf.
2. Add the following option to the <Events Service home directory>/conf/events-service.vmoptions file.

   -javaagent:/AppD/AppServerAgent-4.x.x/ver4.x.x.0/javaagent.jar in conf/events-service.vmoptions

3. Restart the Events Service process.
4. Verify from the Controller UI that you are able to see the Events Service business transactions have registered successfully.
