[windows10]"Error connecting to /services/apps/local: The read operation timed out" is returned when uploading the Funnel Visualization from "Install App from file"

Hello,

I downloaded the funnel visualization to my local laptop from url https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/3413/ , and follow the splunk offical guide to install this app under "Install App from file" in my local splunk Enterprise environment.

When i browse to this tgz file and click upload. I got this error ''Error connecting to /services/apps/local: The read operation timed out".
Please refer the screenshot for this error.

How to resolve this?

Hi,

try to set the time out duration in web.conf:

[settings]
splunkdConnectionTimeout = 300

I had the same issue and this fixed it while uploading the Enterprise Security App which is very large and seems to need more time.

I tried this solution but still facing the same issue
