what is app that is copy and put under aap folder other than logs

logs monitoring goes to indexes , dashboard , etc under that app. are you put or copy app directly to search head or DS to push to Search head

ok Thanks , i need to understand app data , app data includes searches , logs , dashboard , lookup file , dashboard etc , other app installed like ITSM , add-on . other than what data we can push to make app
