Hi All,

I have installed the snmp modular input but when am trying to launch the app its giving the error as "Splunk cannot find the "setup" view".

Is there any other setting needs to be done, please help on this.

Thanks!

Once the SNMP-TA is installed, you'll need to set up an input to either poll for SNMP or listen for SNMP traps. You can set up an input by going to Settings > Data Inputs > SNMP or by creating an inputs.conf file based on the .spec file located in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/snmp-ta/README.

Hope that helps.

actually snmp modular input is not an app but an add-on which will allow you to create snmp data input profile to collect snmp data in /en-US/manager/search/data/inputs/snmp
