how tableau pulls data from splunk report . On which splunk port does it pull data ?

Splunk has a report and we would like to pull this data to tableau . Wondering which data port i have to give .

It would be Splunk's management port 8089 by default
I remember you need/need not to type https:// in URL (a bit tricky).

Haven't touched this a while and sorry I don't have Tableau to verify now.

I gave the user the mgmt port 8089 and one of our associate says that Tableau would pull reports from splunk on web port - 8000 .
