hide / encrypt password when creating monitor through inputs.conf

we are creating Web monitor configuration through inputs.conf, and when we input password it didn't hide / encrypt credential, but same is working through GUI,
is any python script which we can run to hide / encrypt password,

also can you share API detail to create web monitor,
