access to CLI (aws ec2 installation)

Hi team!

I know there are a lot of the same questions. But, I've really gotten stuck on a problem. I deployed an AWS EC2 instance from Splunk Enterprise AMI with a trial license. As usual, I got a PEM key from AWS. But, I can't get access with it. Web works fine but for CLI, I always get: "Disconnected: No supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey).

What's the reason of that?

I guess may be there are some license limitations?
