With the latest version of the Splunk App for Unix and Linux (5.2.2), is there a limit to the number of hosts that can work with it?

If I have thousands of unix hosts, will I run into a problem with the Unix app working correctly? Is there some kind of limit of number of hosts for this app to work successfully?

The Splunk App for Unix and Linux has a limit of 2000 hosts.
