Where do I find documentation on Splunk DB Connect 2 permissions?

I am digging through the Splunk DB Connect version 2 documentation and looking for a section on permissions without any luck.
Are DB Connect 2 permissions documented anywhere?

Examples:
db_connect_read_connection

db_connect_read_identity

My specific issue is related to allowing users to be able to view a dashboard with an embedded dbxquery. I believe that I addressed the issue by inheriting from the dbx_user and dbconnect_user roles, however, I did it through guessing because it appears to be undocumented. I would like to view an actual doc to verify that my settings are correct for this and going forward.
