When I try to open a app iam getting Page not found error

I have a .spl file which i have packaged in admin login. I try to install this spl file in localhost. When I try to open the app Iam getting page not found 404 error. How to solve this?

Hi kavyamohan,
at first see your code, probably there's an absolute path in your app.

Then see grants, maybe the new user cannot access files.

Where do you installed the spl file, in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps I suppose?

I installed spl file using install App from file option in settings. I have checked permission it is having read and write access and i have grant the access to everyone. I packaged app through splunk package app myappname. Anything else?

maybe in app there's an absolute path, maybe in menu.
