Short answer:
This is bug and I will fix this ASAP. See this bug ticket for the latest status.

Long answer and workaround:
By default, admin users no longer have the ability to make these inputs because they lack the "edit_modinput_web_ping" by default.

You can grant this capability by navigating to "Access Controls" section of Splunk configuration pages and giving the appropriate user role the "edit_modinput_web_ping" capability under the "Capability" section.

Update:
Fixed in version 1.2.1.

Is your account an admin? I have a suspicion that it might be because you need the "edit_modinput_web_ping" capability.

Luke, the account is the admin account. Where would I check for this "edit_modinput_web_ping:"?
