Unable to upload an app to Splunkbase created with the Appbuilder. Getting error "*.pyo/*.pyc files are not allowed"

All,

I created an app using the AppBuilder today and when I attempt to upload the app to Splunkbase, I get this error "*.pyo/*.pyc files are not allowed". I didn't create those files, they are created by Splunk itself. I am temped to just deleted them and "See" if my app works.

Any idea what those files are? If I need them and why AppBuilder added them to my app?

Those are files generated by the Python interpreter when you build the code.

Hi @daniel333

To clarify for other users, when you say "Appbuilder", are you talking about the Splunk Add-on Builder?
