Hi,
I want to use this app on the Splunk online sandbox. BUt, this is the error I get after installing. Can you please guide me what is missing?

Try opening the job inspector and the open the search.log. Chances are there will be more error detail.

I trust you have followed the documentation thoroughly ?

Particularly the Dependencies and Setup sections.

Have you worked through the troubleshooting steps ?

I am not sure, if the sand box comes with Java installed. (Perhaps, there is a CLI to check ... ?)

So, I started with a fresh Ubuntu 14.04 VM and Oracle Java 8, installed Splunk and added MQTT application. It works perfectly !

I had been looking around for visualization software that are driven by events and not services - Splunk with MQTT sounds great.
