I am stepping through the splunkbase guide for adding the Splunk for Windows Add-on to my Splunk server and had a question. As I am configuring these index files and props files on the server to collect Windows information, who can send Windows information to my Splunk instance?
Basically, the Windows 10 et. al. box/server needs to have a Splunk forwarder installed on it in order to forward to my Splunk instance right?
