Splunk for OSSEC App

Is the Splunk for OSSEC App still being maintained/supported? Just wondering what to expect as we are getting ready to install it and noticed the app was last updated in March 2012.

one thing to note is that this app is not listed as working with Splunk v. 6, just 5.x and earlier.
