We have a few dashboards that use the Splunk for Excel Export app to provide a button for exporting data. This is very handy!
Unfortunately, we often see the results truncated. For example, I did a search that yielded 13434 result rows in a table, but the exported Excel has 12090 rows. This is, perhaps obviously, non-optimal.
I see that there are some answers involving larger output, but that's not applicable here, and I don't see any answers that suggest a fix or workaround for this. Has anyone else observed this?
Alternatively, is there a good standard way to get tabular dashboard output to users without requiring access to the local file system?
