Trying to automate an install of over 14,000 UFs. Here is the command we plan to run:

msiexec.exe /i "splunkforwarder-6.6.0-1c4f3bbe1aea-x64-release.msi" LAUNCHSPLUNK=0 AGREETOLICENSE=Yes INSTALLDIR="E:\Program Files\SplunkUniversalForwarder" SERVICESTARTTYPE=auto /quiet

They are getting this pop up:

I am sure there is some type of security setting, because they can manually log onto the PC and install the UF.

Is there any direction or precedence here?

Shockingly enough this seems to be a problem with access to the E: drive. If we ran the command from the C: drive and we installed it on E: it worked. Here is the command:

C:\ msiexec.exe /i "splunkforwarder-6.6.0-1c4f3bbe1aea-x64-release.msi" LAUNCHSPLUNK=0 AGREETOLICENSE=Yes INSTALLDIR="E:\Program Files\SplunkUniversalForwarder"

Removed the "SERVICESTARTTYPE=auto /quiet" The documentation does not seem to mention it for 6.6
