I need to save a password change in the configuration for the Splunk Support for Active Directory. However, I have found that I am unable to change the password. I have admin rights, and the save button appears to be active, however clicking save does nothing.
Any suggestions to fix this issue?

Hi There, I had the same issue, to fix it, go to c:\program files\splunk\etc\apps\SA-ldapsearch\local and delete all the contents.
Then in the web console, go to apps and manage apps, the install from zip file, then browse for splunk-support-for-active-directory_214.tgz, making sure to tick the upgrade app button.
This will recreate the files you deleted from the local directory but crucially, you are without a default configuration.
You are now able to create the default configuration with the updated password. hope this helps?
