Splunk Stream App can't group forwarders

I am using a hybrid SH to configure streams via Splunk App Stream.

All forwarders are listed in the default group but when I add a forwarder to its own group it doesn't match the forwarder selected and it remains in the default group.

Has anyone had the same issue and found a solution.
