Splunk Mint: Why is the Network Monitoring working only on Android <= 5.1?

Hello,

I've been testing Splunk Mint for a couple of days without success with the Network Monitor and I've just realized that might be a problem with the Android version.

I've just created an emulator with Android 5.0 and it started working.

I had problem with:

  • Android 7.0 (physical device)
  • Android 6.0 (emulated device)

Events as well Transactions were working but Network Monitor was not. The documentation (https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/MintAndroidSDK/5.2.x/DevGuide/Requirementsandinstallation), says that version 22 (5.1) or later is supported.

Do you have any workaround? I'd need it working with the lastest Android version
