Splunk MINT: How to get offline reporting for Splunk MINT Android SDK?

I just added the Android SDK to my Splunk MINT app and all works beautifully when online. But if connection is lost and app crashes, there is no buffering that I see, upon reconnection for instance, or local saves that i could find.

is there any way to do this that I don't know of?

Offline crashes are locally saved and transmitted the next time the device is connected to the internet. You should see crashes next time the app is initialized.
