Splunk MINT: Can I send my own LogCat in case of an Android crash?

I monitor and filter LogCat myself, so there is really no point in allowing "READ_LOGS" permission. Can't I send my own LogCat?
I tried using "Mint.addExtraDataMap(extras);" where "extras" is the log, but couldn't find it in the exception page.
What can I do?
