Splunk DB Connect 2: How to view database tables in Splunk after connecting to a database?

I am using Splunk DB Connect 2 and connected to the database. I want to view the tables and on board a few tables into Splunk. How can I do that?

Hi, vrmandadi.

You will need to create an identity, a DB connection and the a DB input. The docs cover this, at least in a general sense, so I'd suggest starting at the beginning of the relevant section of the Splunk DB Connect 2 docs and proceeding from there.

If you follow those and still can't get it to work, post back with some specifics about exactly what you are trying to do and what sort of database you are trying to connect to, what is working with your attempts and and what is not working, along with any errors or warnings you get.
