Splunk DB Connect 2: How to add a Presto connection using Presto jdbc 0.150?

I am trying to add a presto connection using the presto jdbc 0.150 on Splunk DB Connect 2.2.0 and I am getting the following error:

Validating connection with URL [jdbc:presto://xxx.xx.xx.xxx:8080/hive/default] failed: java.sql.SQLException:,Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (Method Connection.prepareStatement is not yet implemented)

Is there a way to get the presto jdbc to work on DB Connect 2?
