Splunk App for AWS - Data Inputs -> Add Data is blank

Using Splunk Cloud for a PoC, so we have no ability to "look under the covers", but I believe I've gotten everything right per the directions up until this point. Properly permissioned account, Add-on for AWS set up, but when I go to configure any of the AWS data inputs under Data Inputs->Add Data, it's on the "Select Source", but otherwise blank where I believe I'd value the account and the SQS name. Did I miss something or otherwise do something wrong?

Thanks for your question! This is a known issue we are tackling now that will be resolved in an upcoming release. It only affects Splunk Cloud, so you can test on a free download of the on-prem version if you want to get unstuck right away.

This is a known bug in the current AWS App and Splunk Cloud. This will be resolved with the next release of the app, coming up around .conf in two weeks.

As a work around, please open a ticket with Support, or contact your account rep, and they can assist in the creation of the input.
