Spirion: Unable to fetch data and receiving error message

I am trying to integrate Spirion with Splunk but getting below errors:

10-02-2019 15:55:53.539 -0500 ERROR ExecProcessor - message from "python /opt/app/splunk/etc/apps/TA-spirion/bin/spirion_locations.py" Splunk was unable to retrieve data from the Spirion API. The following error was encountered when accessing Spirion API Location to obtain data: 'data'

The "Enable Web API" checkbox is checked on CAT interface. Does anyone know what these 2 errors mean?

Hi vsingla1,

the errors do not come from splunk itself. When you use a scripted input, everything the input program passes to stdout will show as input data in splunk and everything passed to stderr will show as an ERROR ExecProcessor. Everything behind the quoted script name comes from within the script. In order to find out what's wrong, you need to debug the python code or ask the author of the scripts for help.
