Should the "Splunk App For Microsoft Exchange" v2.1.2 be updated to no longer use google-maps for V6-Splunk users?

Hello, for users of Splunk V6 (and version 2.1.2 of Splunk App for Microsoft Exchange - updated to support V6 ) we notice that Google-Maps still appears to be called in many places ? - is there a config switch in the app that needs to be performed?

If not, since Splunk 6 has its own GEO-capabilities and Google-Maps is not supported (currently) by V6 as we understand -- can we expect a code update to fully support V6 or no ? (when is it estimated if so please?)

Hello there. At this time, v2.1.2 supports both Splunk5 and Splunk6. Since Splunk5 does not have the built in mapping capabilities that Splunk6 does, we won't be backporting that change to Splunk5 while we still support it. That being said, there is a Splunk App for Microsoft Exchange beta that fully supports Splunk6 that you may want to look into that may fit your requirements a bit better.
