When I looked into splunkd log, found the below error message
UserWarning: The soupsieve package is not installed. CSS selectors cannot be used

It looks like this issue was related to another issue.
After that issue got fixed, the issue with sse also got fixed.

try to delete and reinstall the App.
If it doesn't run, Open a Case to Splunk Support: this is a Splunk supported App.
