SA-eventgen: Is there a way to make changes to the eventgen.conf file take effect automatically?

Hello,

Every time I update my `eventgen.conf`, I need to restart my Splunk instance for the changes to take effect.
Is there a better method that could do this automatically, any setting ? I didn't find anything in the doc about it.
