Rundeck App Community Edition not working / ERROR Error creating rundeck credential

Hi,

we are trying to setup the Rundeck app. The access to the Rundeck API via curl is working, but with the same configuration in Splunk the app is not writing any data into the configured index.
In the app logs we found the following error: "ERROR Error creating rundeck credential".

How can we fix that ?

Hello,
it seems that last version of Rundeck has some problem with this app.
If you use Rundeck 3.1 you have to set the minimum api version to 21.
And it seems that http scheme on splunkd is not supported at all.

I think that this app has many problem with Splunk 7.3... last error I found is like this:

2019-09-24 09:09:08,634 INFO rundeck://sysinfo : Performing token replacement
2019-09-24 09:09:08,636 ERROR rundeck://sysinfo : Error executing search to get api version : [Errno 111] Connection refused

and no REST query can be performed to the rundeck server.
