Nest App for Splunk: Search Produced No Results

I cannot figure out how to get my Nest thermostat data into Splunk. I created the API, and only copied the data between quotes, restarted Splunk, and I still do not get any data. I have Nest Add-on for Splunk installed plus Nest App for Splunk, both enabled. Am I missing something?

It says "Search is waiting for input..." on the dashboards and "search produced no results" in the dropdown menu.

When I go to Search & Reporting, it shows "Waiting for data..." so it almost seems like it's not getting any data. I have Home Monitor installed and that appears to be collecting data.
