Need powershell add on for windows Infrastructure but we are on 6.6.7

We would like to use the windows Infrastructure app and the AD app from Splunk, but we are on 6.6.7. and the apps need to have the PowerShell add-on per the installation documentation. what is the best way around this? or should we not use this app? any help would be greatly appreciated.
