Is there a way to use drilldowns to show one dashboard and hide the other?

We have a simple diagram setup search head, indexer heavy forwarder.
When I click on indexer I would like to unset a token that the current dashboards depends on.
And then set another dashboard so it shows.
Basically show one dashboard and hide the other.....

I just want to make sure I understand what you're saying here.

You have a dashboard with a URL similar to <hostname>:8000/en-US/app/<appname>/<dashboard1>
This dashboard has a diagram with search head, indexer, and heavy forwarder

What you want is by clicking on any of them, unsets a token and somehow hides the entire dashboard but sets a token and displays an entirely different dashboard with a URL similar to <hostname>:8000/en-US/app/<appname>/<dashboard2>

I just want to make sure you're asking for hiding dashboards and not just panels within the dashboard.
You can't really "hide" a dashboard but you can click something and it opens a new dashboard, either in a new tab/window or in that same tab. Would that work? The following documentation is about linking to another dashboard.

I really need to be able to set tokens, the standard drill down functionality is not working with this vis. Any advice?
