Is there a way to make the JMS Messaging Modular Input app work with a universal forwarder?

Is there anyway to make JMS splunk app work with Universal forwarder?

The idea is that rather than having a search head with the JMS app pulling a WebSphere MQ server, I would like to install the app on a local Splunk forwarder on the MQ server that would communicate locally with it and forward the data to the splunk indexer.

As I know that splunk forwarder doesn't ship with python, is there something that I can do to accomplish this?

Note: all servers are windows servers.

You could do this. You would need to install Python, and make sure it's in the path for the Splunkd service/process.
