Is the new Mimecast for Splunk app supported on Splunk Cloud yet? Is this through an API?

it's actually both. Have a look here: http://dev.splunk.com/view/app-cert/SP-CAAAFB5

So djschneider can raise a support ticket to check if it can go through the app vetting process at Splunk, or alevy could get it done before hand. @alevy it would be beneficial for mimecast when you do it because it will then get added to the list of supported apps in cloud.

Hi There,

I think this is one for the Splunk team to answer for you. My understanding is that you can request certified apps to be installed in your Splunk Cloud instance. Mimecast for Splunk is certified so you should be ok.

That said it is really one for the Splunk team to confirm.

Would be great if you could post back here once you get confirmation.
