We were looking for this integration with Newer version of Splunk 6.x. Is it just that the app is not validated with newer version or it needs a complete rebuild of app due to the changes between Splunk 5.x and Splunk 6.x?
This app is unlikely to be updated, the author has not responded to requests for updates in a long time. i recommend you take the parts of the existing version of the app that you want and build a new app to meet your needs.
