A lot of apps have explicit Splunk versions listed as compatible (6.0, 6.1, 6.2), but the FireBrigade version 2 only lists 6.0.
I wanted to find out if there are any issues with it and Splunk 6.2 before I go ahead and install it.
Thanks
Yes, it's compatible. I just haven't made any updates that specifically take advantage of 6.2 features. 6.2 is a superset of what's available in 6.0 and 6.1, and the Fire Brigade app (version 2) is compatible with all of these.
I'll update the compatibility tags when I upload the next version, probably within a month or so.
FYI, Fire Brigade version 2 will no longer be updated (latest version is 2.0.3). The newer versions 2.0.4 and higher will now be available with the original “Fire Brigade” app on Splunkbase which was just updated to support Splunk 6.3. This is noted on the page for Fire Brigade on Splunkbase:
