How to trigger one search after the other

I have a DBConnect input which pulls data to Splunk.

I want to count the rows returned by this input immediately after the above job ends. I have written a separate saved search query (report) for this.
How do I trigger the second query immediately after the first ?

DBConnect query Starts ---> DB Connect Query Ends ---> Saved Search query starts
