How to modify 777 rights in Splunk_SA_ExtremeSearch?

Hi,

we found that there is a file in the Splunk_SA_ExtremeSearch AddOn which has rights 777.
The exact path is: 

Splunk_SA_ExtremeSearch/bin/Darwin/32bit

Could this be modified to rights 1777 or 775? Or would this have an impact on functionality?
