How to contact the developer of an app for aid?

I'm currently trying to set up and install an application for my instance of Splunk enterprise, but am running into problems. I want to contact the developer for clearer instructions and aid on how to install and use the app. How would I go about getting in contact with the developer for this aid?

Are you referring to a specific app in SplunkBase? If yes, then make sure to tag that app under the tags column at the bottom of your question. The official Splunk apps have a gear icon next to them. Hope this helps.
