I would like to know how to modify the tool making it monitor or show an alert for connectivity failures between the server and NAS drive.
There is a "Drive Smart details" dashboard that gets a subset of the smart data - it may show in there as errors. Do you have a specific case you are looking for? they may also show as CAM errors in the default syslog
